We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Actions speak louder than words.
Yea the inconsistency in details is a problem. I always try to keep each drawing within 6 hours. This one took me a 5 and a half, so I thought that I'm going too long and need to wrap this up.
Another problem with the details are the brushes. Unlike Photoshop there are no custom brushes in Open Canvas. All they have is Airbrush and Watercolor. So the textures actually had to be drawn dot by dot. I did some of the details then realised it's way too much trouble.
